I chose to do this piece because I wanted to explore a common theme I found among my friends and co-workers. When I went into the coffee shop to interview my co-workers, they made my drink before I could order it. These people are some of the most caring and hard-working I’ve ever known, and I thought they were perfect subjects for a human-interest piece.
